Penn Cove Park
Located off Monroe Landing, Penn Cove Park is a small beach community. It is situated south facing on a slight hill, giving this neighborhood tons of warm sunlight. There is a private beach (directly across the cove from Coupeville) and boat ramp open year round. The beach is dog and kid friendly too. In the summer you see kids floating on logs in the cove. Due to it's location and protection from strong off-shore winds, it is probably one of the warmest beaches in Oak Harbor.
There is a mix of old and new construction here. Most of the older homes are 1 story. There are paved streets, but no sidewalks, but traffic is minimal, so walking in the street is not an issue.
It's right in the middle of Oak Harbor and Coupeville School District, making it a great spot to buy a home if you want options for your kids. Hillcrest Elementary in the Oak Harbor District is an award winning school and goes from K-4th grade.

It's close to the Blue Fox Drive In as well. If you haven't been before, put that on your to-do list right now.
