Whidbey Island Boats & Boards
Paddling out on the water is the ultimate social distancing activity, but it’s also just an awesome way to spend a sunny summer day here on Whidbey Island! Whidbey Island Boats & Boards is an amazing business in part because they will deliver kayaks and paddle boards to you *anywhere* on Whidbey Island at no extra cost. It really doesn’t get easier than that, and it’s perfect if you don’t have the right vehicle situation for packing around a few kayaks. If you need ideas for where you paddle, they have an excellent list of suggestions here.

Once things re-open again, be sure to check out Playtown with your little ones! Children up to 6 years of age are welcome, and there are all kinds of kid-friendly things to do. They even host birthday parties and special events—click here to learn more!

Popsies
Located right in the heart of Oak Harbor, Popsies Popcorn, Ice Cream, & Sweets is a dreamy shop filled with sugary goodness! You can stop in and get a classic ice cream cone (perfect on a hot summer day), but they also have shelves and shelves filled with several flavors of popcorn, cute baggies of different types of candy, lots of different seasonal treats throughout the year, and you’re bound to find something new and special to try. Pick up something special for yourself, or get a gift for that person who already has everything!
