Local Lift: Seabolt’s Smokehouse, The Seaside Spa & Salon Oak Harbor, & Seagull Coffee Shop GIVEAWAY

This Local Lift giveaway features a few wonderful Whidbey Island small businesses! Thanks for stopping by to enter the giveaway and learn more about each of these great local spots.

I started this Local Lift series at the beginning of Covid-19. So many small businesses faced huge challenges during the pandemic, and I wanted a way to lift up our community! With each Local Lift feature, I buy gift cards to local Whidbey Island businesses to give away to the community while spotlighting each business, too. This week, take a moment to learn more about Seabolt’s Smokehouse, The Seaside Spa & Salon in Oak Harbor, and Seagull Coffee Shop!

This week’s giveaway includes:

  • Two $60 gift certificates to Seabolt’s Smokehouse

  • Two $70 gift certificates to The Seaside Spa & Salon Oak Harbor

  • Three $25 gift certificates to Seagull Coffee Shop

Winners will be drawn at random. To enter, head on over my Facebook page to find this Local Lift giveaway post and follow the instructions. (All you have to do is leave a comment on the linked Facebook post to enter!) Deadline for giveaway entries is 5pm PST on Friday, June 24.

Seabolt’s Smokehouse

Located at 31640 State Rte 20, Oak Harbor, WA 98277, Seabolt’s Smokehouse is a Whidbey Island mainstay! This family-owned business has been serving Whidbey Island (and beyond!) since 1978. Seabolt’s has been voted as having the best seafood, the best clam chowder, and the best fish & chips by locals, and it’s no wonder—they are serious about the quality of their products, and never use added preservatives or artificial substances in their food products, for example.

Stop by in person to scope out Seabolt’s extensive, seafood-focused menu. You’ll find a huge variety of fish and chips—beer-battered halibut, cod, salmon, clam strips, and more are all served up with coleslaw and fries. Order from the soup and salad portion of the menu to enjoy Charisse’s Clam Chowder, seafood stew, seafood gumbo, Crab & Shrimp Louie, and more, and choose from favorite like fish tacos, homemade crab cakes, etc. Plenty of sandwiches and “landlubbers” (aka gourmet burgers) are on the menu as well. You can even order items from the shop online, from beef jerky to canned salmon.

Be sure to follow Seabolt’s Smokehouse on Facebook and Instagram for updates!
