OAK HARBOR

Toppins Frozen Yogurt

Located at 32650 State Route 20, A101 Oak Harbor, Washington

It’s all in the name… Toppins is known for their huge selection of delightful toppings! Choose from several flavors of fro-yo (like toasted coconut, caramel, blueberry, cheesecake, pistachio, red velvet cake, peppermint stick, chocolate, French vanilla, and more!), and customize it with fruit, candy, sprinkles, and a huge variety of other toppings. Toppins has a little something for everyone—if you’re trying to go the healthy route, you could get one of their sugar-free froyos and top it with fruit!

Popsie’s

Located at 851 SE Pioneer Way, Ste 101 Oak Harbor, Washington

For a classic candy shop experience, Popsie’s is a must-visit spot that literally smells like childhood! Stop by and stay for an ice cream indulgence, or stock up on gifts (and treats for yourself!). Bags of flavored popcorn and colorful candies line the shelves here, offering a fun variety to choose from.

COUPEVILLE

Ciao

Located at 701 Main St N, Coupeville, WA 98239

The gelato at Ciao in Coupeville is just about as authentic as gelato gets on Whidbey. Ciao sources their gelato from Gelatimo in Seattle where they use a recipe from the 1700s that’s been passed on from one gelato master to another. At Ciao you can enjoy fresh gelato in a variety of flavors (including seasonal flavors) as well as affogato, but gelato is not all they serve here—find pizza, pastas, sandwiches, and more on the menu, too.

Kapaw’s Iskreme

Located at 21 NW Front St Coupeville, WA 98239

Good luck choosing which ice cream flavor to get when you visit Kapaw’s! This Whidbey staple is a must-visit spot (perfect for showing out-of-town guests a slice of Whidbey life), and you can enjoy fresh waffle cones, too. Get your ice cream cones at this downtown Coupeville icon and enjoy them while you wander around Front Street and explore the Coupeville Wharf. You can also order a shake, malt, or float if you’d like, or grab a pint or quart or ice cream to go!

LANGLEY

Sweet Mona’s Chocolate Boutique

Located at 221 2nd Street Langley, WA 98260

When you arrive at Sweet Mona’s Chocolate Cafe, it’s like finding paradise. The idyllic cottage in Langley Village is nestled in a garden with a wrap-around porch, and when you venture inside you’ll find sweet, heavenly paradise. Their case of chocolates and caramels is a delight for anyone with a sweet tooth, and you’ll also find Italian gelato, a selection of espresso beverages, and on the weekends there’s even a pop-up bakery. Cinnamon rolls, pecan sticky buns, pain au chocolate, cookies, muffins, and more are all possibilities!

In addition to all of these in-house delights, you can pick up treats (perfect for gifts!) and you can find Sweet Mona’s creations at several retailers. Want to learn how to make chocolate and candy confections like the experts? You can even take classes with Mona!

Sprinklz Ice Cream & Coffee Shop

Located at 109 1st St Langley, WA 98260

Sprinklz is your one-stop shop for all things sweet! Ice cream, milkshakes, smoothies, and soooo many specialty coffee drinks are all in the mix, and they even have hot dogs and pretzels if you need to combat a sugar high. And with Sprinklz, it’s never “just” a milkshake or “just” a frappuccino—they have a long list of specialty milkshakes (like their Coffee & Donuts Milkshake and Espresso Explosion Milkshake) and blended coffee drinks (like their Caramel Waffle Cone Bliss Frappe or their Cotton Candy Frappe). Check out their extensive menu here!
