Lams Golf Links

Open since 1972, Lam Golf Links (close to Deception Pass in Oak Harbor) is a par three, nine-hole golf course, and there’s even an 18-hole vintage mini-golf course in the mix! This iconic local spot has a fascinating history—the land was bought by Bill Lam back in 1941 and was originally a chicken farm. Eventually, Bill transformed the farm into the golf course—the current clubhouse used to be a chicken coop! You can read the more in-depth version of the story here—it’s definitely worth a read.

Today, people love to drop by the course for a round of golf, host birthday parties, and other gatherings; click here for prices. For updates, follow Lams Golf Links on Facebook and Instagram.

Esteban’s Mexican Restaurant

Located in Oak Harbor, this popular local Mexican restaurant has people raving about everything from their fresh chips and salsa to their amazing margaritas… and everything in between! Large portions, excellent service, and a laid-back family-friendly atmosphere make the whole experience even better. Hardware, lawn and garden care, food for animals, and much more are all available—click here to browse all of the brands they carry. The work that they do in the community is also impressive—recently they’ve donated to a local food bank and they offer scholarships to students as well.
