Local Lift: Aqua Gifts, ACE Hardware, Island Pet Center, & Whidbey Party Store GIVEAWAY
The last several months have been a trying time for all of us, and our cherished local businesses here on Whidbey Island have all had to adapt and face many challenges. This Local Lift series is here to help boost local businesses, and for each giveaway, we purchase gift cards from Whidbey Island businesses and give them away to the community!
This week’s giveaway includes:
Two $75 gift certificates to Aqua Gifts in coupeville.
Two $65 gift certificates to ACE Hardware
Two $70 gift cards to Island Pet Center
Two $50 gift cards to Whidbey Party Store

Aqua Gifts
Nestled in the heart of Coupeville, Aqua Gifts is a shop that offers a large variety of home decor, gift items, bath and body products, shoes, jewelry and accessories, and more. There are also speciality Whidbey-made items here, including this laser-cut wood map of Whidbey Island and the Puget Sound, and these iconic Whidbey Island stickers. Oak Harbor Ace Hardware
Ace Hardware is an excellent local resource for… well, almost everything it seems! They have a huge range of departments in their store including lawn and garden, hardware, housewares, paint, plumbing, camping, electrical, fishing, pets… and more. One of the neat things about Ace Hardware is that it is a retailer-owned hardware cooperative, starting as a small chain of stores in 1924 and growing to 4,600 stores today. Every Ace Hardware store is independently owned, meaning that you’re also supporting your local community when you shop!

Island Pet Center
Located in Oak Harbor since 1977, Island Pet Center is “the one stop for all your pets!” You can find pet food and toys for your furry friends, but dogs and cats aren’t the only ones who will find what they need—they also sell fish and reptile supplies… and more! You can even order online or call ahead for curbside pickup.

Throwing a themed birthday party or hosting a holiday celebration? Whidbey Party Store is your local go-to for all occasions! They sell everything you need to put on a memorable get-together, including tableware (in a ton of colors!), holiday supplies and themed decor (Halloween, New Year, Christmas, football games, graduations, etc.), a huge variety of balloons, and more.
