We’re officially in Phase 2 here on Whidbey Island, and this has meant that many more businesses are able to open again. Our local businesses have all experienced hardships as a result of COVID-19 closures and restrictions, and we have been trying to help our local Whidbey Island economy by doing weekly small business “boosts”!

Tamayo’s Southeast Asian Fusion Style Restaurant

Serving Vietnamese pho, soups, salads, noodle dishes, bahn mi, spring rolls, and much more, Tamayo’s in Oak Harbor offers mouthwatering Southeast Asian cuisine so you can keep everyone in your group happy! Located at 791 SE Fidalgo Ave, Oak Harbor, WA 98277, The Terrace Wine Bar & Bistro has a solid 5-star Yelp rating. The mouthwatering menu of “Modern dishes that capture the flavors of the season” include a large selection of flatbreads and “bites,” which include things like crostinis, baked brie, a caprese antipasto platter, and more. And in addition to their impressive wine selection, cider and beer lovers can imbibe as well—there are dozens of rotating local ciders, IPAs, and an “experimental series.”

Island Nails & Spa

Located at 31595 WA-20 A, Oak Harbor, WA 98277 in the Island Plaza Shopping Center (just a few shops down from Haggen!), is open for business again to the delight of their many clients! Online reviews note that their prices are very reasonable, and hint that you might need an appointment—people are wasting no time in Phase 2 to head out and get their nails looking fabulous!

Diedrich Espresso

Diedrich Espresso has several different locations throughout Snohomish and Skagit County area, and our local Whidbey Island location is at 987 Ault Field Rd Oak Harbor WA, 98277. Diedrich Espresso serves Café D’arte coffee at all of their location, and in addition to espresso beverages, you can order smoothies, frappes, shakes, and a selection of food like burritos, sandwiches, cookies, etc.
