Things To Do During June 2020
Whidbey Island has entered into Phase 2 just in time for summer! The first day of summer officially begins on June 20th, and although we are still being as safe as possible, there are more things that we can do outside the home now. From supporting local businesses and catching up on self-care to exploring our gorgeous outdoor attractions and spending more time outside in our yards, this “calendar” is filled with all sorts of ideas for things to do during June 2020 right here on Whidbey Island. To spread a little more love this Valentine’s Day, I’m excited to share another Local Lift that shines the spotlight on just a few of Whidbey Island’s incredible small businesses.
Happy February! With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, this month features several Valentine-inspired events and happenings, from musical performances to markets. There are also plenty of ways to get out and meet your neighbors, from guided bird watching walks to the always popular Coupeville Chocolate Walk.
I’m excited to highlight a few of my favorite small businesses here on Whidbey Island including Esteban’s Mexican Restaurant, Hai’s Nails, and The Book Rack.
Happy New Year! I hope you’ve all had a wonderful holiday season. Whidbey is a little quieter during January, and it’s the perfect time to get cozy and do some hibernating. Still, there is plenty to keep you busy if you enjoy seeing live music and shows, and getting out to meet your neighbors!
